Whitney McNair — Project Executive
Whitney McNair is StanfordNext’s Project Executive and the Senior Associate Vice President with Stanford’s Office of External Relations. She helps guide the overall strategy for StanfordNext and brings extensive experience in public policy, government, and university leadership.

Erin Efner — Project Manager
Erin Efner is StanfordNext’s Project Manager and an Associate Vice President for Land Use and Environmental Planning with the university's Land, Buildings & Real Estate division. She brings deep experience in long-range planning, environmental review, permitting, and land stewardship, including work on major Bay Area land use projects.

Jessica von Borck — Technical Analysis
Jessica von Borck leads the technical analysis team for StanfordNext and serves as Executive Director of Land Use at Stanford. Her work focuses on how Stanford’s land can support the university’s mission over both the short and long term, with an emphasis on growth planning, land use, and stewardship. She brings decades of experience in executive leadership roles in land use, economic development, and city administration.

Jean Snider — Housing
Jean Snider leads housing for StanfordNext and serves as Associate Vice President for Real Estate at Stanford. She has worked at Stanford since 2001 and brings extensive experience in real estate strategy, development, asset management, and the university’s broader property portfolio.

Lesley Lowe — Transportation Planning
Lesley Lowe leads transportation for StanfordNext and serves as Executive Director of Stanford Transportation, where she creates sustainable, forward-thinking mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of the university. She brings extensive experience in mobility planning, transportation strategy, and sustainable campus access.

Diana O’Dell — Land Use Planning
Diana O’Dell leads land use and environmental work for StanfordNext and serves as Director of Land Use Planning. In her role, Diana helps develop the land use planning, housing policy, and environmental analyses that underpin the university’s long-range planning and regulatory review strategies.

Kelly Kline — Government Affairs
Kelly Kline leads government affairs for StanfordNext and serves as Associate Vice President for Local Government Affairs in Stanford’s Office of Government Affairs. She brings decades of experience working in municipalities across Silicon Valley, including senior leadership roles in San José, Fremont, and Cupertino.

Kathleen Kavanaugh — Internal Stakeholder Engagement
Kathleen Kavanaugh leads internal stakeholder engagement for StanfordNext and serves as Director of Real Estate Development at Stanford. She helps coordinate across university partners to ensure that StanfordNext reflects the needs of the university, and brings experience in campus development, planning, and project leadership.

Maya Perkins — External Stakeholder Engagement
Maya Perkins leads external stakeholder engagement for StanfordNext, ensuring that community feedback and interests are reflected in the plan, and serves as Executive Director of Stakeholder Relations in Stanford’s Office of Government Affairs. Maya brings deep experience and expertise across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including work focused on community engagement, governance, housing, and transportation.

Agustin “Auggie” Torres, Jr. — Political Engagement
Agustin “Auggie” Torres leads political engagement for StanfordNext and serves as Director of Local Government Affairs in Stanford’s Office of Government Affairs. With deep roots in the Bay Area and prior experience in the region’s tech and sports industries, Auggie brings extensive knowledge of local policy and politics, community engagement, and relationship-building to StanfordNext.

Joel Berman — Communications
Joel Berman leads communications for StanfordNext and serves as Director of Land and Local Policy Communications at Stanford. He oversees communications related to land use and local government issues and helps shape how StanfordNext is communicated to campus and community audiences.
