Engage With Us

Main content start

Stanford is prioritizing early, ongoing, and inclusive engagement to ensure robust communication and improve transparency throughout this complex process, including:

  • Convening the StanfordNext Advisory Council (SNAC), a group of community members from across various sectors, to meet frequently and help inform the plan.
  • Providing regular outreach opportunities for local residents, community groups, and county and city officials, as well as faculty, staff, and students through tours, town halls, and one-on-one meetings to respond to questions, concerns, and feedback.
  • Developing the StanfordNext website and sharing newsletters at key milestones to feature up-to-date information about the plan and ways to get involved.

SNAC Meetings

The StanfordNext Advisory Council (SNAC) is a multi-disciplinary group of community members from across the region — representing housing, business, environment, labor, transportation, K–12 education, and more — that will help advise on the StanfordNext plan. The group’s members have been selected by StanfordNext leadership as well as supervisors from both Santa Clara and San Mateo counties to ensure that StanfordNext reflects a broad spectrum of local perspectives and expertise.

SNAC meetings are open to the public and will be held throughout Santa Clara County, but because of their small-group format provide limited opportunity for public participation or visibility into SNAC deliberations. If you’re interested in attending, please register using the form on this page.

Upcoming SNAC meetings:

  • Check back soon for new meetings.
